Privacy Policy

JAR Films is the short film directing and writing work of Janae Rosario, based in Orlando, Florida. This page explains what information this website collects, why, and what you can ask me to do with it.

What I collect

When you fill out the casting form, I receive:

• Your name and email address
• What you're interested in (acting, extras, crew, or something else)
• Your Instagram handle or reel link, if you add one
• Anything you write in the message box
• Whether you'd like to join my mailing list

If you email me directly, I receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

How I use it

I use your information only to read your submission, consider you for current or future projects, and reply to you. I don't sell, rent, or trade your information. I only add you to my mailing list if you check the box asking to join.

Mailing list

If you check the mailing list box, I'll occasionally email you about casting calls, new films, and screenings. Every email includes a link to unsubscribe, and you can also email me anytime to be removed. I may use an email newsletter service to send these updates. It stores your name and email address only to deliver them, and I never share or sell the list.

Services this site uses

• Formspree receives form submissions and delivers them to my email.
• GoDaddy hosts the website. Like most web hosts, its servers may keep basic technical logs, such as IP addresses and browser type.
• YouTube plays the embedded teaser in privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube may set cookies once you press play.
• Google Fonts loads the site's fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy.

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn't use analytics, advertising trackers, or its own cookies, and it doesn't track you across other websites. Because of that, there's nothing to change when your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

How long I keep it

I keep submissions for as long as they're useful for casting and collaboration. If you join the mailing list, I keep your name and email until you unsubscribe. You can ask me to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information you sent me. Email [email protected] and I'll take care of it.

Age

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information. If you're under 18, please get a parent or guardian's permission before sending the form. If I learn I've received information from a child under 13, I'll delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
